Getting Here
Shelves are full, tables turn often, and the mix changes constantly. You’ll find a wide range of secondhand books across genres, along with vinyl records, CDs, and DVDs. The rotating selection also includes clothing, accessories, gifts, art books, decorative home pieces, and the kind of unexpected finds that make every visit different.

The Bookstore regularly hosts readings, talks, signings, and performances. The calendar changes often, so it’s worth checking back to see what’s coming up.
The space is also available to rent for weddings and special events. Every event hosted here helps support Housing Works’ services and advocacy.
The cafe is part of what makes this space work. Grab coffee, tea, a glass of wine, or a craft beer while you browse, read, or meet up for a bit. The menu keeps things simple, with light snacks and drinks that pair well with a good book, a good find, or a quick break between plans.
Grab a drink while you browse.

One hundred percent of net proceeds from the Bookstore support housing, healthcare, and advocacy for people living with HIV/AIDS. You shop, someone else gets real support. That’s the exchange.
If you love the Bookstore, there are a few ways to support it directly.
