The shop is easy to reach by subway or bus. Take the F or Q to Lexington Avenue and 63rd Street, two blocks away. The 4, 5 and 6 trains stop at Lexington Avenue and 59th Street, about a five-minute walk south. The M15 bus runs along 2nd Avenue through the neighborhood.

Our Thrift Shops thrive on community support and your secondhand goods in good condition keep our selection moving and give a second chance to a New Yorker in need.
Donations that are gently used and in great condition are essential to keep our doors open. We welcome a wide array of items such as men’s and women’s clothing, accessories, jewelry, shoes, housewares, books*, furniture* and more.
*PLEASE NOTE:
The 2nd Avenue & 64th Street Shop does not accept furniture donations at this time.
We are able to accept a maximum of two boxes of books per customer at our Thrift Shops.
We are not currently able to offer curbside assistance for donations, so please plan accordingly.
We DO NOT accept electronics, appliances, strollers, mattresses, exercise equipment, or cribs.
You can also make a 100% tax-deductible donation to support Housing Works’ services and advocacy.

Yes. We accept women’s and men’s apparel, shoes, jewelry, accessories, handbags, art, decorative accents, housewares, lighting and furniture in good condition. We do not accept electronics, appliances, strollers, mattresses, exercise equipment or cribs. For furniture donations, please call the shop at 646-975-5905 or visit our Thrift Shop Donations page to confirm before dropping off.
What are the hours for the 2nd Ave & 64th Thrift Shop?
The shop is open Monday through Saturday 11AM to 7PM and Sunday 12PM to 5PM. Hours may vary around holidays so it’s worth checking before you visit.

Yes. The shop is at 1222 2nd Ave, two blocks from the 4, 5 and 6 trains at Lexington Avenue and 63rd Street. Inventory rotates frequently, so regulars usually find something new on each visit.
